About
OTPilot
Fills two-factor codes from your Gmail inbox into the site you're signing in to.
It checks one Gmail account for two minutes after a code field appears, and each look only reads mail that arrived since the last look. When the page names an address, that account is the one checked. Codes stay on this machine and are forgotten after a few minutes. Nothing is uploaded. Outlook, iCloud, text messages, and authenticator apps are not read.
Fill the latest matching code with Ctrl+Shift+Period, or Command+Shift+Period on a Mac.
If Chrome installed this from the Web Store, it updates it from there. If you loaded the folder from the download page, unzip the new zip over that same folder and choose Reload on chrome://extensions. Checking for an update uses Chrome's own update service and does not send a separate report.
If the inbox card says OTPilot needs to be reloaded, open chrome://extensions, find OTPilot, and choose Reload.
A test code is only for the local demo. It never leaves that page and is never typed into another site.
