Layouts privacy policy
Layouts is a Mac app from Leadomator LLC. It remembers where your windows sit and puts them back. This policy describes what stays on your Mac.
What it stores
When you save a layout, Layouts records, on this Mac only:
- the app name and bundle identifier
- the window title
- the window position and size
- which screen size that layout belongs to
That information is written to a file in the app’s local storage. The Mac App Store version keeps it inside the app sandbox. Layouts does not have an account, and it does not send layouts, window titles, or positions to Leadomator or to any other server.
Accessibility
macOS asks you to allow Layouts under Accessibility. Layouts uses that permission to read the windows that are open and to move them back to the saved places. It is not used to watch what you type, and it is not used to control the Mac for any other purpose.
What it does not do
Layouts does not sell information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. There is no analytics and no network account. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage, including saved layouts.
