MyWork privacy policy
MyWork is a Mac app from Leadomator LLC. It keeps a local list of what you are working on. This policy describes what stays on your Mac.
What it stores
On this Mac only, MyWork may store:
- task titles and which app they came from
- workspace, section, and window labels read through Accessibility
- which apps you chose to monitor and how they are calibrated
- aliases, ignore rules, and a short local focus log for debugging
That information is written to a SQLite file in the app’s local storage. The Mac App Store version keeps it inside the app sandbox. MyWork does not have an account, and it does not send tasks, window titles, or focus data to Leadomator or to any other server.
Accessibility
macOS asks you to allow MyWork under Accessibility. MyWork uses that permission to read selected text and titles that identify a workspace, and to bring a window forward when you jump back to a task. It is not used to watch keystrokes for any other purpose.
Optional screen capture
If you turn on the per-app vision fallback, MyWork may capture the front window and send that image only to a local Ollama model on this Mac (for example at localhost). That feature is off by default. Screen Recording permission is requested only when you enable it. Captures are not uploaded to Leadomator.
What it does not do
MyWork does not sell information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. There is no analytics account. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage, including tasks and calibration.
